Coaching
I am Laura-Jeanne and I am a coach. I specialize in conflict coaching, single parenting, relationships and families. For the past seven years, I have been connecting with people, helping them reframe their lives, encouraging them and guiding them through challenges. Coaching has become a perfect fit for my skills and talents and I absolutely love helping others move forward in their lives.
My skill comes from being able to look at situations and see more than one perspective. I come from a gentle and peaceful place and have learned when to encourage and when to give someone their space. People who come to me for help are often ready to change, so sessions are typically short and powerful because the desire to change is strong.
About Me
I have always considered myself to be a student of life. Watching dynamics and human interactions, being curious about relationships and wondering why people do what they do, has always been a passion. Coaching is really more than what I do, it’s who I am.
My formal education has come in the form of a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Sociology as well as many courses in Psychology and Counselling. I am also trained in Conflict Resolution and have certificates in both Mediation and Negotiation.
My real education, has come from personal life experiences. I use what I have learned in my own triumphs and challenges and my training to help others figure out what works best for them. Using some powerful life changing experiences to create positive results in my own life, then helping others from that knowledge has been the key to my success as a coach.
My style of coaching is often done long distance, via telephone conversations and email.

Rates
My coaching is $75 per hour.
I am also open to trade and on occasion, work on a sliding scale.
